The Armazém Terra Viva, aiming to strengthen ecologically-based family farming, was created to facilitate the distribution of organic and agroecological produce. Its mission is to increase the availability, supply, and variety of healthy foods at fair prices, fostering closer connections between rural and urban communities.

Agroecology is a science that integrates popular and traditional knowledge, the wisdom of family farmers, and the experiences of indigenous and peasant communities. It is combined with the principles of the Solidarity Economy, such as self-management, cooperation, respect for nature, fair trade, and solidarity-based consumption.
