Cultivating Knowledge, Regeneration, and Ecological Harmony

Located in Dikhena Estate, Kudamadwa, Mattegoda (Polgasowita area), LOADI GROVE is a hub for learning, experimentation, and collaboration in Organic Farming, Ecological Farming, Regenerative Agriculture, and Analog Forestry. Established on World Environment Day (June 5, 2024), the center embodies a deep commitment to sustainability, biodiversity, and the empowerment of local communities.

Guided by the vision of creating resilient food systems and restoring the balance between people and nature, LOADI GROVE serves as a living classroom—a place where farmers, students, researchers, and practitioners come together to share knowledge, innovate, and reconnect with the land. Through hands-on training, workshops, and field-based research, the center promotes ecological practices that regenerate soils, conserve water, and enhance ecosystem health.

The initiative is led by the Lanka Organic Agricultural Movement (LOAM) and FIAN Sri Lanka, under the leadership of Mr. Avi De Silva and Mr. Thilak Kariyawasam, with the collaboration of a dedicated multidisciplinary team. LOADI GROVE stands as a beacon of hope and regeneration, nurturing the next generation of agroecological leaders and promoting a more sustainable and just future for all. 🌿
